Kilden is a luxury shepherd's hut set in the rural countryside of Cornwall.

The Accommodation

Kilden was built on site and completed in the spring of 2025 - creating the perfect peaceful escape in beautiful, countryside surroundings.

Inside you'll find a comfortable double bed and ensuite bathroom with full size electric shower, kitchen with all the essentials - including Belfast sink, toaster, kettle, electric hob and small fridge with ice box. There is also a TV, bluetooth speaker and 4G wifi.

Ensuring everyone stays warm and toasty during their stay there is underfloor heating throughout the shepherd's hut as well as a wood burning stove to complete the cosy retreat.

The Location

Tucked away in the corner of a quiet field in a peaceful countryside setting, Kilden is the perfect romantic escape for two.

Located midway between the city of Truro and harbour side town of Falmouth, there is plenty to explore nearby with both around a 15-20 minute drive away or short train ride from the village station.

The village shop and pub, The Royal Oak, are within walking distance, whilst the beautiful beaches of both the north and south coast are easily reachable by car.

We are very lucky to have a variety of fantastic footpaths to explore in the surrounding area, as well as the Mineral Tramways Coast to Coast Trail just down the road, which offers both walkers and bike riders alike the opportunity to ride or walk across Cornwall in a day!

Popular attractions such as the Maritime Museum, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Minack Theatre and many more all offer fantastic days out and are well worth a visit.
